Founded in 2020 by Leah Hill McNair, The Sister Circle began as a women's fellowship and book club and has since grown into a dynamic organization impacting over 10,000 women nationwide.

Mission
Create a healing-centered environments where women are supported mentally, emotionally, and socially. Through a combination of direct services, empowerment programs, and strategic partnerships, we are addressing the root causes of generational trauma, poverty, and inequity in underserved communities.

LEAH HILL MCNAIR
Executive Director

Leah Hill McNair is the visionary founder of The Sister Circle International, a thriving 501(c)(3) organization launched in 2020 that now empowers over 10,000 women nationwide through programs centered on healing, wholeness, and community. With nearly three decades of experience in community service, she is known for her relatable, empowerment-rooted teaching style and her ability to mobilize women toward purpose and transformation. Under her leadership, The Sister Circle has launched impactful initiatives such as the GLOW Program for girls’ mental health and The Healing House therapeutic retreat, gaining recognition across North Carolina, Massachusetts, and Texas. Her work has earned honors including the 2022 High Point Chamber “Community Organization of the Year” Award, the 2025 High Point Housing Authority “Recognition of Service” Award, and the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Finer Womanhood Award for Social and Economic Justice. Leah holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and is on track to complete her Master of Divinity at Virginia Union University in December 2025. She is a proud member of the Greensboro Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. She is also a graduate of Leadership Greensboro’s Class of 2025. Leah is a passionate advocate for women and families across the Piedmont Triad and beyond.
